Weekend Tour to Armenia

We invite you to go on an individual excursion tour of Armenia for 3 days.
Armenia is a country of stunning beauty, a country of rocky mountains and delicious national cuisine, extinct volcanoes and hot sun, ancient churches and hospitable people! Of course, it is impossible to get to know this country in 3 days, but you can touch its history, get acquainted with the culture and traditions of this ancient and, undoubtedly, noteworthy country. If you wish, you can always extend your stay in Armenia.
1 day
Arrival in Yerevan at Zvartnots airport. Individual transfer to the hotel. Assistance with registration.
Excursion to Vagharshapat – one of the 12 ancient capitals of Armenia and a visit to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and three churches located there: St. Hripsime (618), the domed basilica of St. Gayane (630, reconstructed in 1652) with a three-arched narthex (1983) and the church of Shoghakat (1694).
Visit to the Zvartnots temple (7th century), destroyed by a powerful earthquake in 939. Return to Yerevan.
Welcome dinner in Yerevan.
Day 2
Excursion to Matenadaran. A repository of ancient manuscripts and a scientific institute. The Matenadaran houses the largest Armenian book weighing 34 kg, for the creation of which 700 calf skins were needed, and a handwritten miniature weighing 12 grams!
Excursion Yerevan – Garni – Geghard – Yerevan
Trip to Geghardavank Monastery. A tour of the unique cave monastery (carved into the rock) Geghard (12th-13th centuries), some of whose rooms have unrivaled acoustics. A tour of the summer residence of the Armenian kings – Garni Fortress (3rd century BC – 13th century AD) and the pagan Temple of the Sun (1st century), built by King Trdat in 77. Lunch at a tavern with national cuisine above the gorge of the Azat River.
Arrival in Yerevan. Rest.
Next, we recommend taking a walk around Yerevan in the evening, sitting in one of the open summer cafes or listening to jazz in one of the best clubs in Yerevan – the Malkhas jazz club. Day 3
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out.
Excursion to Lake Sevan – the blue pearl of Armenia (1900m). Here you will have a delicious fish lunch. You will taste the famous Sevan whitefish and trout. Inspection of the Sevanavank Monastery (IX century) on the Sevan Peninsula.
Individual transfer to the airport.
Departure from Yerevan.
